1980's to 2020's
The kitchen was from the 1980's so it'd had a considerable lifespan but needed updating. It was also a great opportunity to open the space up and make it more modern in layout than a typical boxed-in kitchen area. The transformation worked well and the unique splashback made the kitchen look a lot more modern than the typical and often boring tile effect. We also built a new door access to the cellar as the existing one was in the hallway and a dangerous drop to the first step.
