Horrors of the week

This bedsit had a horrendous smell coming from the kitchen which had to be found and dealt with during the end of tenancy deep clean. Most cleaning companies don't move washers to clean under them due to the potential issues with tearing or scratching vinyl. In this case, we had no choice but to try and find where the smell was coming from. It looked like there had been years of food kicked under this washer, but the smell had finally gone once it was finally cleaned. We didn't try to find out what it was but it was definitely decomposing and the cloths used had to be binned.
